Ram lives in Dubai. He has over 30 years of experience setting up and investing in multiple businesses with various roles of advisory, operations, risk management, accounting, audit, taxation, treasury management and corporate finance. He is an expert in financial consultancy, management consultancy and strategic advisory. He assists many companies in the UAE on compliance and corporate governance.
He led Essdar Capital Group’s financial control and risk management team to win Thompson Reuters Compliance awards, ensuring the highest level of compliance standards being maintained.
He was the Chief Operating Officer of the biggest hedge fund in middle east – Essdar Capital in 2009 set up to invest in special situations which achieved successful exit in 2012.
He holds a CPA from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and CA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and trained in securities operations program conducted by ICMA (international capital markets association).
